I remember when I didn’t know a soul on facebook, my real life friends were on myspace (I would rather shoot myself in the face than use myspace). I was trying out apps none of them had heard of; facebook, twitter, tumblr (and to many others to mention). My ‘friends’ were Internet acquaintances. Some (@kharper, @maique @aliska) I’ve had so long I no longer distinguish them from my real life friends.
My friends and family have since made the jump from myspace to facebook. I enjoy nothing more than reading about their life, however trivial or mundane. But now, I would rather shoot myself in the face than try to read between the pokes, flairs, mafia wars and farm town bullshit.
